Abstract:
This model is designed to assist in identifying optimal areas to conserve and restore functional core forest conditions in New Hampshire's coastal watersheds. The model utilizes three data layers: (1) unfragmented forest blocks, (2) aggregated forest blocks, and (3) high-quality stream watersheds. A comprehensive description of the Forest Ecosystems Co-occurrence Model may be found in Section III of the Land Conservation Plan for New Hampshire's Coastal Watersheds or in the excerpt "Coastal_Plan-App_D-1-Forest.pdf".
